Example of Descriptive Text

Today I'm gonna give you an example of a Descriptive Text. I hope it's useful! ^^

Digulis Park is a new park in Pontianak. It is located at Achmad Yani Street, in the northwest of Digulis Monument.

Digulis Park was established in December 2015. Even though this park is still new but many citizens love to go there. There are many activities that people can do in the park. People usually exercise, jog, hunt pictures, play roller blade, do assignments, read, and many others. As long as what people do are not against the rules, people can do anything there.

Digulis Park is divided into three parts. There is the front site, where there are lines of flowers and the name of ‘Digulis Park’ that will light up every evening. There is a parking lot in the side of the park near the Digulis Canteen. People who park their vehicles just have to pay Rp. 1.000 per motorcycle and Rp. 2.000 per car. There is also the jogging track that is more familiar with the name ‘UNTAN Jogging Track’. The jogging track is the main part of this park, because people who come to Digulis Park usually come for jogging. The government is also still in the process of increasing more facilities of the park. Until now, there will be a new path for the jogging track that looks like a bridge and there will be a rest area beside it.
